Where do I normally store my makeup products?

I have just tidied the makeup drawer a little bit just before Chinese New Year, as I would like to have a fresh start in 2013 (although the tidying is after 1st Jan 2013)
This is my makeup drawer, where I normally store all my makeup. If I close the doors, it's a staircase to a spare bed in my room. Hong Kong is famous for tiny houses. That's why we have to try our best to find more space for stoage!

This was the before look of my makeup drawer.

This is the interior look of my make up drawer. it seems a bit messy but all the stuff are all stacked in place.
It is more organised now!

IT is a brief introduction on my makeup collection. If you would like to know more information and what kind of products that I normally use for a daily look, please feel free to comment below or send me request emails. Let's look at my makeup drawer section by section:

First of all, this is the far back of my drawer. All my stuff for tiding my hair is stored here. On the right hand side of this section, I store all the backups and makeup pallets.

This is my Go-to pallet if I have more time on makeup that day before work. I enjoy using it because there are lots of different colours to choose from and make a different look. The only downside that I found about this pallet is that the eyeshadow is easily fallen off. This might be because I have oily eye lids

This Kate Pallet is my go-to pallet if I don't want to have much colours on my eyes that day or I am in a hurry.

These are all my backups on makeup, a Fhysicians Formula healthy glow blush, a eyeshadow base, a NYX blush in peach, a RMK blush. I try not to keep a lot of backup as I worry that they will turn bad quickly.

In front of the eyeshadows are my eye products and lip sticks. All the mascaras, lip liners, eyeliners, eye curlers are stacked here.

In front of the eye products are my brushes for eyes. They are all stacked in the Sigma bunny lid.

Next to it is all the misc prodcuts. From the bottom left, it's my 2 base that I am currently mixing to create a hydrating and a slight coverage base/foundation. They both are from Shiseido. On the right is my Malani bronzer and Mac highlighter.
Let's have a closer look at the top picture
From the top, it's the lipsticks, then it's the foundation sample. On the right is my RMK foundation.
From the bottome, it's the consealer and makeup base, then it's gel eyeliner and some mirror and the eyeliner brush.

On the far left corner are my face brushes.

This is the overall picture of my drawer again. Hope I can provide you some inspiration on how to store makeup products in a limited space :)

100 days Ban of Buying

Since I have so much left from the heavy hauling in the past few months, I have stocked up about half a year or above stock (I think the amount of cleansers is adequate for 1 year+ use!)

I am up for this ban! Trying to finish as many products as possible, will update with your from time to time and at the end of the 100 days ban about what I have finished and my progress.

Rules as follows are simple:
1. DO not allow to buy anything on beauty or makeup or nail vanishes. IF something runs out e.g. my foundation stock is only half full, then buy when necessary. There are 50 USD allowance on that. I will keep track what I have purchased and make sure it is not exceeding this limit
2. Getting free samples to test on is not affected by this 100 Day ban. I am sure that everyone cannot resist to try something which is newly launched. Getting free samples is not a kind of purchase. So it is allowed.
3. Cannot ask others to buy you anything, which is listed above. This is cheating!!!!

Stuff that I am planning to finish
1. 1 set of skincare (toner, day and night cream)
2. All the little samples that I have at home (mostly 7ml size)
3. A base
4. 2-3 bottles of cleansers

After cleaning these, I think I will give myself a break and continue clearing some other stuff :P
The next shopping haul might be April/May (during my Holiday or May Sale)

The ban starts on 21/1/2013 and will be ending on 30/4/2013.
(I know I am contradicting here, I try not to spend during my holiday!!)

Haul: Canmake Christmas set

I really like the Canmake Christmas set because you can mix and match the colour of the product of you choice. There is a wide range to choose from. I really like the packaging.
I have chosen the HKD 288 set because the products are most suitable for me.

This is the overlook of the products.

The bb cream samples are free~

1/. Canmake Concealer Foundation UV
This foundation is a discontinued product. It has SPF 25 with PA++, suitable for office work. This is a two-way cake and claims to cover the pores well. I haven't started using this yet because I need to find a case to put this in. All the canmake powder cases are sold with a powder inside... Please tell me where I can find the case only for putting this powder in.

2. Canmake Concealer

I have been hearing good reviews on this. I think the coverage is quite good. Will do a review on this if I am satisfied. This is the first concealer that I own in my makeup section.

3. Nose Shadow Powder
This is something that I like. It is so compact that I can just pop it into my handbag and carry out with me. I can contour my face while I am out now! yeah!!

4. Canmake Cream cheek in colour 08
This is a backup product for me. I enjoy using cream blushes at the bottom of the powder one as I think it gives me the sheen and make my skin looks more healthy.

5. Canmake Gradation Wink Eyeshadow

This eyeshadow can create a death look to my eyes. This is especially made for Asian eyes, which need more death and contouring.

6. Canmake eyeshadow base

This is a backup product. My eyeshadows stay on my lid longer if I apply this primer beforehand :)

I hope you all enjoy my haul. What have you hauled during Chirstmas and New Year?
