Review: two-way cleanser?

I meant to put this up ages ago. But I always have more exciting things to share with you. Today I am going to review Emma Hardie Amazing Face cleansing system which I bought a few months ago: Haul

I have been using this cleanser for more than a month now and I am very satisfied with the products. I bought this from Spacenk. To link to the product, please click here: Product It is retailed  a£42.00.

The cleansing system contains two components and a muslin cloth.

The muslin cloth is amazing!!! I really like it because it is 'double sided'. One side of the cloth is like normal hot cloth cleansers where you use to exfoliate your skin. The other side of the muslin cloth is a towel-liked texture. Therefore you get to choose to what extend you want to exfoliate your skin on the particular day!

OK, back to the system, which contains 2 parts

1. Amazing face - Natural lift and sculp Moringa cleansing balm - 100ml
I think it was in one of the beauty boxes last year (Feel Unique). I didn't subscribe to that box and therefore I missed the chance to try the 30ml sample. However I heard a lot of good things about this cleanser and I decided to try. It was said by several bloggers that it is a nice 'dupe' of the Eve Lom cleanser, which motivates me more to try this product. I did a lot of researches on this product before purchasing.

The lid is clear and products are inside. I find it's quite hard to fasten the lid tightly after use.

The balm is yellow in colour. You only need a tiny amount for the whole face, therefore this 100ml tube is going to last forever!

The balm will turn into white creamy texture when you add a few drops of water. Sometimes I will just massage it directly to skin (when I am lazy) and I think it's a good cleanser to remove makeup too!!!!

Normally I massage it for 2 minutes and then apply muslin cloth to wipe off the cleansers.

The claim on the official website is as follows:
Amazing Face ~ Natural lift and sculpt Moringa cleansing balm
A luxurious botanical cleansing balm, so pure, silky and hydrating it doubles as a soothing and softening mask and universal rescue balm. Moringa seeds, Wild Sea Fennel and Vitamin E balance, purify and minimise the appearance of open pores , whilst a blend of uplifting Orange, Neroli and Mandarin extracts combine with calming Jasmine and Rose to revitalise dull, dry, dehydrated and mature skins, leaving the complexion clean, soft and exquisitely fragrant. Removes all traces of face and eye make-up.

I really like it and I do think that it's a 'dupe' of the Eve Lom one. However, if you are a person who doesn't like herbal smells, then don't bother buying or trying this because the smell is quite strong. After cleansing the skin, my face is very smooth and hydrated~ Sometimes I think it minimises the appearance of my opened pores and sometimes I don't.... it's quite frustrating if it doesn't!

The second way to use the balm is to apply the balm along with the Moringa seeds.

Seeds with the morning balm

Seeds with the morning balm and a few drops of water.

I think this provide extra exfoliating to the face and leaving the skin even more refreshed!

Overall comments: I really like the cleanser. It is about half the price of Eve Lom's and I think it is more 'economical' to use. I think this cleanser will last me for more than 4 months (I have used it for 1.5 months and haven't gone down 1/4 of the tube yet!)

I highly recommend you to try this product if you are looking for a nice refreshing cleanser. The only down side of it is that it has a strong herbal smell. (but eve lom has a petrol smell (my opinion))

If you have any questions please ask. If you have any comments on this cleanser, feel free to leave in the comment box below. I really love to read about other people's comment and see how they get on with the products.
