Battle #1: Gentle cleanser battle Clarins Vs Lancome

(from google image)

Both of the cleansers are bought from Boots and considered as high end brands.

Round 1: Price
Clarins is retailed £11.00 for 75ml (£14.67 for 100ml)
Lancome is retailed: £21.00 for 200ml (£10.50 for 100ml)

Consider both of the products are high end ones, Lancome is cheaper in price. So the winner in round 1is Lancome.

Round 2: Texture
It cannot be compared because Clarins is a gel like and Lancome is a cream/lotion like texture
There will be tiny foams in Clarins but no foam in Lancome one.
Therefore there's a tie!

Round 3: Cleanness

I notice that Lancome does a better job at cleansing than Clarins, however, both of the cleanser triggers more black head formation around my nose. But if I have to pick, I will pick Lancome to be the winner of this round.

Round 4: Claims

Clarins:

Clarins Daily Energizers has an innovative cocktail of four natural ingredients.  The first is an energy boosting shot of Vitamin C that stimulates the skin’s natural defences to keep it looking fresh all day,  because young skin has lots of vitality it uses up energy so quickly that it does suffer from periods of fatigue and dull skin tone.  The second is Turmeric or Indian saffron, a powerful antioxidant that strengthens this action. The third ingredient is purifying Alchemilla, an astringent plant extract that regulates sebum production to keep pores and the complexion clear.  And finally, radiance-boosting Ginkgo biloba, to improve the skin’s uptake of oxygen so it looks brighter and healthier and to strengthen the walls of the skin’s super-fine network of blood capillaries.

Lancome:
A water-light lotion for fast, thorough cleansing that removes even the most stubborn makeup. Foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick all dissolve and disappear on contact! Leaves skin feeling clean and fresh, soft and supple. It’s extremely gentle formula can even be used to remove eye makeup.

To be honest, I don't think both the cleanser meets the claims, so I will think it's a miss

Round 5: Smell
Clarins has a flowery, fruity smell and Lancome has a normal relaxing smell. I love them both and I will make it as a tie

Overall:
I am not very satisfied with these two products. If you have other thoughts about them, please comment below

In this battle, the winner is: Lancome.
