Haul 14/03/2012

THIS IS MY FIRST EVER HAUL!!!!! Actually I rarely buy stuff because i have more than enough from the beauty boxes

If you have followed my twitter, you would have known that I am waiting for the Revlon Lip butters to be out!
I was told by the staff in superdrugs that it will be coming out today, so I went it.. With huge disappointment, there's none in Superdrugs nor in Boots (I know that they're in store, but not on the shelf yet because the staff showed me the lip butters) Does anyone know when exactly it will be out? I am very desperate to try it out!

Hauled in two shops: 1. Boots and 2. SpaceNK

1. BOOTS

Got 3 stuff from Boots, the maybelline eye studio lasting drama gel eyeliner 24H in intense black, Real Technique Stippling brush, Loreal super liner perfect slim liquid eyeliner

I got extra 250 points when purchased >20 pounds in store. I am very happy about that.

Let's talk about the products

  • Loreal Super liner perfect slim liquid liner

Brush head is quite tiny

In comparison with my Esprique liquid liner, the tip is thicker. Both of the liquid liners are easy to control

The strokes - The Esprique one can produce a thinner strock than the Loreal one.

It is quite pigmented for the Loreal one, I am impressed. The downside is that it's not waterproof and it smugges a lot. I tried it on today and when i got home 4 hours after putting the liner on, the eyeliner dropped to my lower lash line. I will try again with the primer on and see whether it makes a difference or not. I will keep you all updated

  • Maybelline eye studio lasting dramer gel eyeliner 24H in 01 Intense Black

The packageing is similar to the Bobbi Brown one. The eyeliner brush is quite soft too. The price is about a third of Bobbi brown ones

I was going to buy Loreal one. Will try to purchase it and do a comparison next time ;) (a bit short with $$ at the moment)

Tested on my back of the hand

The top one is the Bobbi brown long-wear gel eyeliner in sepia ink 2 and the bottom one is the Maybelline one. I personally think that the Maybelline is more pigmented than the bobbi brown one. It's one stroke for Maybelline's one to produce this intense line but need a few strocks to build up the colour for bobbi brown one. Will try it on for few more times and compare :)

  • Real Techniques Stippling brush

This is the brush that everyone talks about. It was sold out at my local Boots store for 2 weeks and finally they are in stock. I like the density of the stippling brush. Will try it with foundation on and give a review about it!

2. SpaceNK
I have a five pound voucher and it's dead today. So went to SpackNK and see what to get.
At first I was thinking about Nars Sheer Glow, but i think it's too heavy for me and the Laura Mercier tinted moisture is very liquidy.. I don't like that. Then I was looking through exfoliators. Got this in the end

This cleansing system is a similar product with Eve Lom and Liz Earle where you need a cloth to wipe off the balm. This is a professional cleansing system which consist of a full sized balm, the exfoliating seeds, and a cleansing cloth.

I will try it later (when I use up more of the cleansing products) and give a comparison between the three ones :) (hopefully will still have some Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish left)

And the following are the samples that I've got:

It's a great time shopping in town! and have to go back to work now ;(

    1. you mean the Real Technique one? it's very soft. I am still thinking whether I should get the foundation set, but I have way too many brushes now.

I am hoping to try the Loreal one as well. Definitely will do a review on the maybelline one after using a week
